Cold Case: Forever Blue, Jimmy/Coop

Set in the 60s, Jimmy and Coop are cops and partners, and they are secretly in love with each other even though Jimmy is married with kids. Their relationship is heartbreaking -- there are shades of Brokeback Mountain and the pressure of society at that time cause fractures that eventually drive them apart. I love Coop, who is the dreamer, the one willing to risk it all for what he and Jimmy have; he spoke one of my favorite lines ever: "We're the lucky ones. Don't forget that." Their flashback scenes are scattered throughout the ep, but I managed to fit nearly all of them in the video clip; the black and white cinematography is gorgeous and the soundtrack is perfect, and I think it is one of the most amazing montages ever filmed.






Everyone seriously needs to shut about how awesome/awful this or any other music is. I tried to disable comments, but youtube doesn't like me, so please just don't bother commenting.
