Friendship, v.s., Emotion

Question by Sara: Sex v.s. Friendship v.s. Emotion?

1) He'd always look deep into my eyes and smile
2) He'd quickly touch my waist when passing by me
3) He'd grab my hand on the dance floor and then pull me close close close close to him
4) He'd compliment me on my intelligence, skills, clothes and accessories
5) He said I was beautiful
6) He'd always want to dance with me
7) He'd buy me drinks
8) He asked me if I had a boyfriend and then about my past relationships
9) He asked me about my interests, my hometown, study plans etc.
10) He'd always greet me with my name
11) He said he was probably coming to my home country in the summer and asked if we could meet then (I said probably not cuz I'm living quite far away from the place in my country he was to visit) (we met while being abroad at a language school this spring, we don't live in the same country, we live 2 hours flight away from each other)

- In WHAT WAY? I.e. just intersted in a sexual relationship, friends, gf-bf-relationship or what?
- which things do you base your "HOW"-decision on? i.e. which of the listed things "proves" he likes me and how?
- what's missing to KNOW FOR A FACT the guy is interested?
- could he just have had friendly intentions or sexual ones or was he genuinely inteerested in me? I would think that he was, but then again, this thing ended pretty weird so I don't know... (Met abroad while studying at the same place, he was pretty damn pissed the two days before he was going back home - maybe cuz I didn't really act as great towards him as he did to me (see above) - so we never talked things through...I did like him, genuinely, but I just wasn't keen on showing him that in case I was just a game to him...)
